Forgiveness Prayer
In this moment of stillness, I release the weight of past hurts and grievances, Letting them dissolve like morning mist in the warmth of understanding.
To those who have caused me pain: I acknowledge that you, too, were walking your own difficult path. Your actions, though they wounded me, Were born from your own struggles, fears, and unhealed wounds.
I choose to unclench my fists, To let go of the stories I've carried for so long. They no longer serve me, And holding onto them only dims my own light.
Here, in the perfect presence of now, I feel gratitude surge through me like a cleansing wave. For every challenge that shaped me, Every obstacle that taught me strength, Every disappointment that showed me wisdom.
I breathe in acceptance, I breathe out forgiveness. Not because what happened was right, But because I choose peace over resentment, Growth over stagnation, Freedom over the chains of the past.
In this exact, precious moment, I am exactly where I need to be, Shaped by all that has come before, Yet free to write the next chapter anew.
For this awareness, this freedom, this chance to begin again, I am deeply grateful.
