Chase your Fears

Dear Matt,

Chase your fears. Prioritize doing whatever U fear to do. Doing so will accelerate your learning.

U don't fear what U already know. If U avoid fear U fail to grow, because U only do what U already know. In order to grow U must seek out opportunities that U fear. In this way U can't help but learn.

Even in the worst case, where U fail miserably, U will learn about your own limits. U will calibrate when fear provides a useful signal. In most cases , U will realize that U need not fear so much, and U will gain new skills.
